This was a ton of fun to build. The instructions were clear, and the removable color-coded baseplate is super useful so you know you’re placing the correct pieces in the correct places. I am a geologist, so I suppose I could gripe about the fact that the crystal structures are all wrong, but there is only so much that you can do with a cubic system when imitating hexagons. Even so, I would recommend this to any geology nerd.
Nice building bricks. This brand has nice rich color in their bricks, the bricks lock together so well. The six gem formations look great when built and are somewhat realistic looking. The instructions were easy to follow and concise. Can’t really find any negatives about this set.
Like every other Nifeliz product, it’s well packaged in a nice looking box. The instruction manual is big enough to be usable, and includes some background on the things you’re going to build. This set comes with one storage box and a bookmark. Each mineral is 1-2 bags, most being just 1, so you can build one quite quickly. They all follow a similar basic pattern so it speeds up the build as you go along. The pieces are well made, the coloring is good, and everything is pretty simple. The end result is quite pretty and easy to display since each mineral isn’t all that big.
